So Worth It: Pack This! List

You know that I absolutely LOVE to travel! But what you may not know is that I absolutely HATE to pack! I do not like it whatsoever! It actually stresses me out a bit, as I want to make sure I am packing what I need and not packing stuff that I will not need at all. I also cannot play Tetris with my stuff; I have a hard time visualizing everything and figuring out how it can all fit in together in the best way possible.

People know me as an organized planner, so you might be shocked to know that I hate packing. Yes, packing is a form of planning, but whenever you are traveling, you cannot have access to everything you own. You have to be ultra-prepared and plan for the worst. What if it is raining? I will need to pack an umbrella just in case. What if I get cold? I will need to pack at least two sweaters. What if I get sick? I will need to pack all my medicine just in case. Well, all of those things that might happen make for a very stuffed suitcase.

I usually pack a day or two before traveling. Yes, I would be excited to travel, but the packing part is my least favorite part about traveling. It is probably worse than waiting for an airplane! Okay, well maybe not as bad as that, but it is really bad. Whenever I would travel, I would write out a list of things I would need and then cross it off whenever it was packed away. I would then save my packing lists, or at least the most recent one, in order to help me write out the next one. It would take a bit of time to write out what I needed to pack each time, and I considered typing it up and then printing one out for each time I traveled. However, that would require a working printer. I was still using my printer from college, but basically every time I wanted to use it, it would say I needed to install a new toner cartridge.

One time when I was shopping with my sister, I came across a pad of paper that had a packing list already printed on it! I immediately purchased it, and I do not regret it! I use it for every trip now, and it has helped save me time from writing out a list. There are some things on the list that I would not need to pack, so I do need to go through it before each trip to cross out things I do not need to pack. And there are some blank lines that I can add things. It has come in handy, and when I was down to a few sheets left, I searched the Internet for the pad. Thankfully, I had a WalMart gift card and found it on their website. I definitely think this is worth it, so if you are an avid traveler like me, I highly recommend that you purchase this! (Just a note — I was not paid to endorse this product.)
