Bringing Our Love of Travel into Our Home: Hallway

When I was visiting China with my co-workers as part of a work trip in 2016, we stayed at a hotel in Shanghai. We went to one of the shops in the lower level of the hotel, and we were allowed to choose from several different printed mats that had calligraphy on it and a painted picture. I was very appreciative of this gift!

I had to roll mine up to get it to fit into my suitcase. And when I got home, I tried flattening it out. I then ordered a frame for it and hung it in our hallway. It’s only about 12 inches by 12 inches, but unfortunately, I do not know what it says. It is a pretty reminder of my trip to Shanghai though!
